The physical raw materials that make human expression possible will be articulated and researched in an experiential process rooted in sensation and exploration.
Hierarchy of an Expressive Action
An improvisatory process in which an expressive action is built from the ground-up. The actor investigate how a weight-shift influences a breath-shift, influences a sound-shift and ultimately a speech-shift in integrated human expression.
Voice and Body Work
A series of exercises that progress sequentially from lying, to sitting, to standing, and finally, to upright locomotive movement. Each of the exercises incorporates a series of integrated moving, breathing and sounding actions that mirror the universal physical pattern that makes human expression possible.
